It’s COZY MYSTERY SZN! 🕵️‍♀️🔎👀☕️🍁… and I loved kicking it off with Welcome To Murder Week, a mystery-within-a-mystery set in the English countryside! Cath, who is mourning the recent loss of her mom, is puzzled to discover that her mother had booked the two of them on a “murder mystery week” in the Peak District of England. When Cath embarks on the journey alone, she is determined to solve the play-acted mystery in a small British town - but will she also find the key to unlocking her mother’s complicated past?

A charming setting, endearing supporting cast, and sweet romance made this a perfect-for-fall treat! If you enjoy stories that are lighthearted, warm and smart, this one checks every box - and it transported me to a little town so adorable that I’m craving a visit myself. Classic mystery fans will love the many Agatha Christie Easter eggs here. Add this and a cuppa to your cozy mystery TBR!

Fall baking is underway with the story’s sticky toffee pudding! I had never had this classic English dessert, and it is filled with surprises - like did you know it is made with dates? (Kind of healthy, right?) Also I finally got to use my molasses, which sits in the back of the pantry most of the year! A proper English dessert for a delicious story that I highly recommend for fall!
